This was exactly what I thought when I saw that picture (APART FROM MY COMPASSION WITH THE WAGNER) - let me tell you that in my memory you're as slim as a cigarette (or something like that). But may I suggest that you give this Wagner thing to someone like me who knows how to take care of things like that?

So you've already had your coffee party... well, maybe there could be another one?

And did I tell you that I like flowers?

I'm having a coffee party with myself like everyday, so you're always welcome to join me.
I thought the Wagner is "a good microphone" (haha), but it could have some more patina. Only joking - I just stood there by accident and Mr Necola was taking pictures all the time, as he always does. Where does he get the time to get through gearslutz.com?
By the way, I like flowers as well, but they don't seem to like me.

Really sad to hear this. When I was young my first Roland D50 and W30 was stolen along with some other gear. It stopped me from going forward in music for years. I know how heart broken and hurt you probably are by this, but something good might come out of this after all. For me at the end it all worked out. In fact now that I think of it, its the best thing that happened to me. (no don't steel my current gear please quite content with my current situation)

What if we can have some kind of fund raising for this? I would be willing to donate if enough takers are on board. Maybe if few of us who have money could donate $100 that might bring back the spirit. A little good can go a long way.

I've just now stumbled across your posts - sorry for the delay!

TheBoss, although you don't write much about any details, I guess I can relate to what you're writing. A few years ago I broke my back (3 vertebras), and I had to basically lay in my bed for months, wearing a corset all the time (including in the shower and during sleep). It was a great blessing. I had a lot of time for meditation, and I became clearly aware that whatever happens, I am completely unaffected.
I doubt that I would have gone on spiritual retreats without this "total break" in my life. And those retreats transformed my whole life, they are blessings beyond words.

There were a lot of signs before the burglary that it's time to sell equipment and look for a security system, but I was too slow acting appropriately. The burglary made me quicker..!

Fortman, thank you very much for your sympathy! I must say that I don't have any bad feelings, or any hatred. Just imagine in what state a soul must be to think that doing such things is a solution for anything. Then ask yourself if you would like to BE that soul, live your life with such a mindframe, and such a deed in your past... Might lead to some compassion.

And TheBoss, thank you very much for your kind words, and for your fund raising idea! I've already experienced the blessings (here it already comes again...) of Matt (big country) and Ben Sneezby sending me their great microphones as gifts of sympathy. It still moves me deeply. May God Bless them.

I will keep an eye here in Brazil and inform you of any suspicious activities.

I decided to post here because recently popped up a few cheap Neumanns at Brazilian e-bay, but probably are not these old and fancy units of yours.

God be with you!
Best wishes!

Hey Rumi,

Good to see you you're back in town :-)

I'm going on vacation on sunday for 2 weeks, but maybe we can get together before that? Let me know, otherwise I'll get in touch with you when I'm back.

Take care
Jan

I guess I'd try posting selective wanted ads (pretending to be a buyer) on local gear sites or checking them. Someone may try and sell your gear back and then you've nailed it.

Hey Jan,

I'm looking forward to meeting you again! Must have been 17 years or something?

I guess I missed the point of seeing you before your vacation. Could you send me an e-mail when you're back?

Best wishes, Rumi
