 | Latest version of PT on Tiger? I'm running a dual 2.5 mac PPC g5 and am wondering which version of pro tools is the latest for this system? I'm running 10.4.11 tiger and Pro tools HD 7.1cs7. Thanks -Chris |

| So I rummage through the support/downloads section of digidesign.com and download 7.3 and then 7.3.1 and boom now I need an authorization for this?!?!?!? unreal. I go from 7.1 to 7.3 and I have to pay? And to top it off it's digis lunch hour so I can't even get anyone on the phone. God... |

| Should I pay for the 7.4 upgrade from 7.0 or wait for PT8? Do you guys know if PT8 is going to be compatible with 10.4.11 and g5 or only 10.5.X and intel macs? |

| Pro Tools 8 won't be compatible with Tiger, you'll need OS X 10.5.5 for it. If you buy 7.4 today you'll get an amnesty upgrade when 8 is released. |
