The Impulse response thread

Like a lot of other people on this forum, I haven't got loads of money to spend on gear and convolution has been a life saver for me.

Recently I've used Colourtone pro where convolution is used to get the colour of various bits of gear and it sounds great. Over on the Tri-tone forum they have a thread where the users post impulse responses of their own gear.

This got me thinking that we should do this over here. Lots of users have got some great hi-end and esoteric gear and it would be cool if us paupers had a chance to use some of that colour.

The only thing I've got which anyone would want is an Allen and Heath System 8 desk so I'll do sample it this week and post it

Theres a sine sweep here: Send big files the easy way. Files too large for email attachments? No problem!

I think anyone taking part should post a few different gain settings. If we could get enough people doing it, hopefully we could get a sticky [ey mods]

Who wants to play?
