Thread Starter | Major Bug in Digi Core Audio Driver? Out of Phase!
In Logic 8.02 did the following; Using a positive only impulse (only up then decays) I did a loop back test with the both the ADAT port and the analog I/O and both are recorded out out of phase. Did the same tests in Logic using another Audio device with it's core drivers and all wall well - no phase issues here. EDIT: Here are some images. In Pro Tools Le there are no problems; ![]() In Logic running under the Digi Core Audio drivers the polarity is inverted; |

been there done that! also check the latency randomness! i use logic through 003 only for output to speakers... otherwise i would be having an RME or Apogee interface...

I've reported this quite some time ago as well, here and on the Digidesign forum. It's been confirmed by other Digi hardware users as well. Digi didn't bother to respond. I ditched Digi and got Lynx Aurora instead. Life changing experience. I'm missing beat detective, but all the trouble I had to go through to make the hardware semi-work with Logic wasn't worth keeping it. btw, I was quite amazed on the lukewarm response I've got from people around. I guess not too many people using Digi's hardware with other DAW's ![]() cheers |

That´s weird, a temporary solution could be to make some special cables perhaps. I wonder if it occurs on the input or the output? |

| Yeah, that wouldn´t work obviously. But this looks like an error in the driver as you say so Digi is probably on the case. Has it been a long time since the driver got updated?

BTW it would probably work to reverse the phase with the gain plugin if you insert it on the aux.
