lets compare our core pc latencies useing this tool.

lets compare latency on different pc's..
(just a public service thing.)
useing this tool.
might be informative for people looking to buy systems.
DPC Latency Checker
also an important source of info.

i'm just curious what other people are getting.
and whether there is any correlation tween more expensive motherboards
/systems vs lower end systems re latency.
quad cores vs single n duals etc.
ie..does buying a higher end system necessarily mean lower stats. ??

for example ive done now nearly 2 albums of songs on an acer dual core of mine.
had it nearly 2 years now. a hundred songs. from ruff ideas to final songs.
not failed me once , even tho' some said it was quote
"commodity junk". interestingly this "commodity junk" clocks in
at 8 or 9 microseconds for current latency. which is nice.
thus confirming for me, for the daft low price paid for it...
its pretty darn good.

i invite others to post their results useing this tool.
whether you have a monster pc or not.
before the "smarties" post there are other considerations, like drivers/round trip
etc etc...i DO realise that. lol.
but if enough posters post their results it might help others looking at systems.

interestingly i just ran the same tool on two different new laptops at the store.
both had quite high latency. according to the tool. above the green line.

if you do find quite a high level per the tool read out...
you can then go to town on your pc figuring out which processes are active that might
have a negative impact.
