URS A&N eq - "classic" vs "graphic"

hello everybody

i am going to buy URS Classic Console Equalizer Bundle or Classic Console Graphic EQ Bundle. ( tutt please don't give me the "get both" advice, can afford only one now)

of course i will download the demo versions of both bundles and check them out by myself, but i would like to hear your opinions about them.

what do you like / dislike about the "graphic" version? what about "classic (parametric)"? which one do you find more handy? why? which sounds better to you? in which applications do you prefer the "graphic" eq? etc...

I have both; but if I were gonna have just one, I'd have the graphics. The API 560 is like a Swiss Army EQ to me; it works in so many situations, and I can say the same for the plugin. When I open my sessions, they're all over the place. Sometimes there'll be an 'A' series with one or two bands cut just a 'smidgen', but it'll be making a really noticeable difference. The parametric versions are cool but they never ended up being the 'go to' EQs like the graphics, for me.

I've been making myself use the 'N' series graphic lately, when I would usually use the 'A' series. It's a totally different flavor, but almost as useable.

Don't forget, you can rent either bundle for $150/month until you've spent the total for the license.
