Abbey Road/Chandler TG Limiter Plugin - pre-2.0 version still available?

Hey there,

after updating to 2.0, I noticed the plugin won't load settings of earlier versions of the plugin in a song. This way all the compressors in the song are reset to default

I contacted Abbey Road and they confirmed the problem, but only have the 2.0 version for download. Anyone knows if the earlier beta is still up somewhere?

Thanks!

Hey there,

Like I said, I wrote Alex there - he confirmed the problem, but couldn't help me with the earlier version. Apparently they only have the 2.0 themselves...

Can't believe someone at Abbey Road doesn't have the previous version of the plug-ins if you contact them - Whilst I'm sure like any software vendor they don't want to be distributing old product, I'm sure they'd be happy to re-issue the previous given that your saying features of the current version are screwing your session loads...I've spent a pile of time in the past looking after application release management, and have never been in a position where our source safe didn't have a copy of every release we ever made, however transient, in it...Give 'em another call maybe and apply a little persistence .

well it's not for everybody. it doesn't have that modern hi-fi sound and that's what i like about it.

add a bit of high end just before it to compensate
