What software adds a ".freeze" at the end of its audio files?

What software adds a ".freeze" at the end of its audio files?
I got some files from another studio that I'm mixing and I noticed it's got these "kick.freeze" etc on its audio files.

Logic or...?

Is it some kind of bounce to disk function..?
