NI guitar rig insert in a track possible

Just downloaded the demo of NI guitar rig.
For some strange reason, I can only insert this as an RTAS instrument on an aux track .
I was hoping it could serve as an effect as well , like ampfarm, sansamp , etc.
or did I overlooked something somewhere?

i was able to use the AU version in Logic. To me, Guitar Rig sounded like plastic crap. What platform are you trying to use it in? I'm assuming Pro Tools since you're trying to use an RTAS

andre, GR willl serve as an fx like the others you mention. maybe the demo has this limitation cause mine works fine.
