Pro Tools Le and Gigastudio 3 Rewire Question

I have switched over to protools l, so i am new to this and just received my gigastudio 3. Having trouble getting my roland pc70 midi comtroller to work.

i open pro tools, create a midi track and a stereo audio track. on the midi track i set the input my roland midi controller. On the audio track i insert giga and setrewire channel

My Problem is giga opens fine, and when i load an instrument, i can click with the mouse on the onscreen keyboard and it produces a sound, but when i puch a key on the controller itself, nothing. In gigastudio setup everything is greyed out and i cant configure the rewire this way, any help

ps i can use the midi controller to play other soft synths, so i know it works

did you set the midi channels output to the input of giga studio? did you arm the midi track in protools?
