| Lives for gear | PT 6 on legacy mac...
Hey all, Just got my free PT 6 upgrade today, but sadly am still on my trusty 9600/350 at the studio. Was wondering if anyone has tried installing 6 with XpostFacto app for legacy macs - I know they aren't supported, but was wondering if anyone had the guts to try? I am thinking of getting an exp chassis for my Powerbook instead of getting another tower, tho I know there are current issues with Magma/PT 6 as we speak, and are hopefully getting ironed out. What would you do? 1) buy a new (or almost new) tower 2) get an exp. chassis for PowerBook (Ti 550) 3) stay where I am (no waiting for plugins/bug fixes...etc) 4) move to another SW/platform? Lots to chew on - fire away... |
