Prosonus Inspire Daisy Chaining

I've looked all over the net and can't find an answer for my problem so I thought I would see if anyone here knew a way to fix the problem. Heres my problem I'm running a vista laptop and I have two Presonus Inspire units that work great when I use only one, but when I daisy-chain them they both stop working. Neither syncs or shows up in the device menu.

If anyone knows how I can fix this problem I would sure appreciate the help.

Thanks.

Im not sure what you are running, in cubase i never got vista to work but XP was great. Anyways you need to call presonus help line and they can help, you need to power everything down and power it back up for starts, are both blue lights on 2 convertors ? they will daisy chain, you may need a firmware update Its possible that Inspire will only work with one, also depends on what software you are running as well.

presonus.com tech support / downloads etc...

not sure vista will work.... PRESONUS AUDIO INSPIRE 4x4 Firewire Recording Interfa AUDIO VIDEO ACCESSORIES ACCESSORIES

The INSPIRE 1394 installs effortlessly on both Windows XP and
Macintosh-based computers and works seamlessly with virtually all
popular recording software including Cubase, Nuendo, Sonar,
Cakewalk, Logic, Logic Express, Digital Performer and many others.

i would guess vista is the problem... i am not sure the presonus drivers are compatible with vista... better ask the presonus people. when i had to buy something to work with vista i went with motu, because they were one of the first to come out with real vista drivers.
