| Lives for gear | Logic Copy and Paste Shortcuts?
I keep seeing tutorial videos on the internet where people have this short-cut of copying and pasting where they highlight a set of regions and drag it over. Anybody know the commands for this I know it is commonly used in many DAWS. Also, do any Logic users here have any tricks for aligning audio regions? I keep having this problem where I shift an audio file down the timeline, and it ends up beings slightly off of the exact measure I want it at. Is there a function that alligns it to the closest marker for you? |

Check out the keycommands. There's for example one that moves the selection to the SPL. Pickup clock (move event to SPL position) Don't know the original short-cut, I changed it to "J" like in Pro Tools. thumbsup |

| Limit dragging in one direction
Hi Check out the "limit dragging to one direction" (or something like that...) I don't have Logic right here, so can't remember where you find this, but it must be in preferences somewhere. With this option selected you can only drag your objects in one direction at a time. Meaning if you drag a region between tracks, you will never loose the timing.
