Transfer audio from Cubase to Protools

I have a band that has recorded with me but wants to finish up some stuff on their own and then bring it back to my place for mixing. They are using a protools mix+ system. I am using Cubase VST32 5.1. What is the most effective way of getting the wav files in my computer to their mac? I guess I could export each track one by one but that would take forever. Is there any type of multiple export feature that I dont know about for doing this? Also, is there a certain format that I need to export to in order for them to import into their system?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

-Jay

OMF

You should be able to export as OMF and Pro Tools will import OMF.

If they don't have digitranslator, it cost a small fortune as I recall, and OMF won't work.

I've used a $19 plugin called TapeIt for this purpose. Thing's pretty brilliant. You insert an instance on the end of each channel, or stem if you want to give them stems, play the song once, and you get a .wav or aiff file of each channel. It even timestamps right (if your installation of cubase timestamps right, which often isn't the case).

Highlight all files with the range tool.
>audio > bounce selection.
Full wav files of all your tracks.
Put them on a drive or DVD and open them in any app.

A-MEN! Even going Pro Tools to Pro Tools this is the best way.

Bounce?

Hey, Sounds like a cool trick, but I dont see and option that says Audio, then bounce Anywhere in CUBASE VST32 5.1.

Also, note that this won't print any of your inserts or anything -- just renders an unprocessed .wav of each channel.

The version of cubase you are using is pre omf and bouncee feature these were not introduced until SX. Your only option as I see it is to export all the file and ensure they have the same start point.

You should relly consider upgrading to SX, its a great app, and the audio engine is far superior to that of VST.
