Creating a new Tempo Grid in Pro Tools session HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys,

I am trying to make a tempo grid from a session my teacher gave me, and I'm completely lost on how to do it. The tempo varies throughout certain points in the song, and I've got no clue where to start(seeing as I was at the doctor the day he explained how to do it). I know that it's for a class assignment, but I would love to get the knowledge behind this, seeing as it might help me out in the future. If this has already been answered in a thread, then I apologize, but I looked and didn't find anything at all.

Thanks guys!

Well if it's for an assignment I definitely ain't tellin'. And what's this "I know it's for an assignment but (...) seeing as it might help me in the future" all about? Isn't that what assignments are for?

Anyway... Seek and you shall find.

One hint: It's called a Tempo Map. Tempo Map.

Good luck! :-)

It's for a class assignment, yes, but I missed the day that he explained it due to a doctors appointment. So pretty much everybody else knows but me, which is why I was asking you guys.

I'm googling Tempo Map as we speak. Thanks!
