Thread Starter | ARRGH! MIDI Ghost! (Problem with Ultralite MIDI output in C4).
I'm running XP, with a MOTU Ultralite and Cubase 4, and recently acquired my first hardware synth (MFB synth Lite II). In Cubase, everything looks good after I create a MIDI track and send the output to the MOTU Ultralite MIDI device, but the synth is clearly not recieving any MIDI signal. Cubase shows that it's sending MIDI out (on the correct channel), but no MIDI signal is being sent. I've verified that the synth is working fine. Oddly enough, even connecting my Novation Remote SL (MIDI out) directly to the synth does not work correctly, and I cannot help but wonder if Novation automap and/or the Novation USB Midi driver might be part of the culprit... Any ideas would be appreciated! |
