Thanks Kent that looks cool thumbsup I'll have a look and see if they do one with a few more midi control options like wheels for modulation and pitchbend etc.. |

I got a evulotion 249C? at home. It has quite a few assignable pots and 4 octaves. But whats really neat is the Korg MicroKontrol controller except that it doesn´t have full size keys.. But the drumpads alone makes it up. Seems like it should fit perfect with the ibook in its carrying case. http://www.korg.com/gear/info.asp?a_...&category_id=2 |

I think it depends on what kind of music you create, and specially how's your playing skills. If you do play keyboards so i would recommend having 4 octaves at least. In case you deal only elcetronic music i think you would prefer 2 octaves keyboard which contains nobes and stuff like that. I like the FATAR / STUDIOLOGIC keyboards. They have a great touch in my opinion, although I think it could be more "user friendly". peace. |

I like my Midiman Oxygen for portability. Powered off USB. Fits in my laptop backpack. Only 2 octaves, though.
