Thread Starter | E-MU 1616 plugs garbage? Are the plugs that are bundled with the 1616 worth using? I am referring to the dsp plugs by e-mu. I was going to pick up one of these as an upgrade to my firebox and was just curious. Is this a worthwhile upgrade? |

| Gear Head | I owned an 1820m and they use the same drivers and dsp effects engine. I'd say the effects are pretty generic but than again just about all freebies are in comparison to waves..... The interface is solid though, and the patchmix dsp is awesome! |

Thread Starter | Can anyone comment on this being a big improvement over a firebox in regard to preamps and AD/DA? |
