Thread Starter | TL Space Ir's Whats The Status?
Its been a while now since TL Labs said they were going to put out a new library. Does anyone have an update on the status? I love my TL Space but I would love some new IR's to play with. I understand they had to redesign their web site and were having issues but I had hoped it would be worked out by now. Thanks, Michael Greene |

Did you already try the many IR's which you can find on the internet? I do really like the samples I've found of the Lexicon and TC boxes, they're better than some cheap sampled rooms in my opinion. |

I have all the IR's you can find on the internet. I have been using Altiverb for about 2 years now. What I have found is that I use TL Space when I need another reverb and I am starting to tax the processor in Altiverb. (The main reason I bought it) Plus I think it sounds really nice. I am always looking for more IR's to change up the things I am working on and since they have promised some really great new IR's I would love to see the results of what they some up with. I have found that I use Altiverb for a bunch of their "Propriatary IR's" (sic) and I have now started using TL Space for the Internet IR's that can port between the two programs. What are you other users, who have both, doing? As for the "cheap sampled rooms" comment, I find that everything has its place. I use the Lexicon and TC stuff all the time but sometimes those other rooms have great character that really make something unique and beautiful. To me it is all about the textures you can have. I use mainly Altiverb, but have recently also started to use TL space. I can't really comment on that yet because I haven't really put it to its paces. I agree that even the not so good sampled sounds can work very good sometimes. I just meant that when you listen in solo to some IR generated reverbs, some have more of a Wow factor. |

http://noisevault.com/nv/ You may have to file convert them or change the folder organization but they have a bunch of great stuff on there. Good luck, Michael Greene | |
