Thread Starter | Midi with RME DIGI9652 Sound Card
I have a RME DIGI9652 card that I use on my PC for transferring audio data into and out of my computer. I want to start using midi on my computer and noticed that the DIGI9652 does not have MIDI in or out capability. So my question is this - is there a PCI card available that is designed to merely transfer MIDI that I could purchase for my computer? I noticed that the newer RME HDSP 9652 card has MIDI in/out, but I hate to have to upgrade the entire card just to get Midi capabilities. Any suggestions for the most cost effective way to add midi in/out to my system would be greatly appreciated. thanks! |

Pick up a soundblaster for a few quid...fine for basic midi stuff.....the breakout midi cable will prolly cost you more then the card!
