Anything missed from OS9?

Anybody miss anything recording wise that didn't make it over to OS X from OS 9, or just isn't made anymore but worked great on an old mac?

kestral, was going to say SoundApp too..but passed over osx for XP which has the ultimate Soundapp replacement...FOOBAR2000....

only thing i miss from os 9 is having a mac that was actually fast..

Crashes? 1980's GUI?

Don't hold your breath for Spectrafoo - they were promising it at AES 2003 from memory.

Nice, I didn't know that about Logic, wasn't much of a user in OS9, I'll have to check that out.
