Logic: How to save Plugs on an Audio Inst. Channel..

Want to load an eq and comp on an EXS or EVP inst ch., but it doesn't save as a preset... Is there a way to load plugs without changing the inst?

Are you in logic 8? Then just added it and save the channelstrip. Or is this not the thing that your searching for? Becoz i don't really understand your prob, m8.

you can load any eq or compressor on an EX24 track. you can change the presets of the eq, compressor or exs separately within their windows. You can also save all in a channel strip by clicking and saving the channel strip, then apply it to other channels or of the same or later songs.

No, I want to be able to load inserts by clicking on the Channel Strip Setting tab.. But I want to load it WITHOUT Changing my current instrument..

FOR ex: If I have a drum set loaded via the EXS, I want to be able to go to my ch strip list where i have a sonalksys eq and comp preset.. and have it show up on my inserts...

But the drum set would remain untouched...

I can do this for audio and aux tracks...

Why not just create a new instrument, load the channel strip and then copy those settings to your drum track?

try sending your instrument output directly to a freshly created aux track and then loading your effects there.

well, for me speed is a serious factor.. so when i have my instr loaded and levels/panning where i need them, all i want to do is goto the ch strip menu and select my preset then move on... to create a new inst (lets say we've run out of channels... i know its easy to create new ones, but i'm on a roll and dont want to be derailed), copy/paste ch strip settings is too damn long...
