Power panning and Logic

Hi,

Ther's lots of talk about "power panning" on the VSL forum. "Apparently" Cubase has this "feature" but Logic doesn't. Do any of you really know what power panning is and willing to briefly explain it?

I think you're referring to pan laws (such as constant power panning).

You can change pan law in the preferences menu in Logic Pro.

You can read more about pan law here:
Harmony Central - Panning Laws Revealed

I use -3dB compensated pan law.

Most people default to -3 and I think you'll find it the best option in the long run. Also this is probably the most compatible choice.
