| Logic 8 and Outboard Gear...again Ok...Maybe someone can help me with this. Im using the Apogee Ensemble and Logic 8 on an Intel iMac, dual 2.0GHz, 3GB RAM, but I dont think these specs make a difference in this situation. Using the "I/O" plug in Logic 8... Signal gets routed: OUT the Ensemble's Analog Output 4. IN Klark Teknik DN410 10 band para EQ. OUT said EQ IN Ensemble analog Input 5. Everything's great...no latency, EQ does its job on the channel routed thru it. BUT...when I try to Solo the channel in question, EVERYTHING gets muted, INCLUDING the channel I solo'd and the main output. Theres kind of an easy work around, which is to manually mute EVERY channel except for the one routed thru the EQ... But DAMMIT I want my gear to work the way it should!! Anyone else have this problem, or know what could be the cause could be, and/or how to fix it??? Thanks in advance! ![]()

| I experienced something like this before. I found that if you have a Logic/Mackie Control you can mute with the physical button instead of the mouse and this doesn't happen. I can't remember what I did for a work around before I figured that out. |

| Click on the region in the sequencer and Solo it by hitting "S".

| you've got to create an output object for your analog out 4 in the environment and solo safe it by clicking ctrl + click on the little s of the output object. it's kind of "logic", when you press solo on a chanel EVERYTHING gets muted so you have to open the hardware output by clicking solo safe. |
