any users here? it looks like it would be pretty speedy! nice dual jog shuttle feature plus you can take it back inside of 30 days! think I might try it

I got one on the advise of one of the moderators. I'd never heard of it. Un F* believable. It's absolutely perfect. Since I'm a keyboardist, I sit behind a bunch of boards and I no longer have to hit record and run back to the keyboards. It's very comprehensive and you can configure the unit to control whatever functions you deem necessary.

It may take a little time to configure, but hang in there. It's absolutely worth it. I do recall that the necessary updated driver didn't come with the unit and I had to go to the website and download it, no biggy.

I use it for Nuendo 2.1 via a USB connection. I control all of the important transport functions on my Mackie Universal Control with it.

Same experience here. I love it for my film scoring work. The device is built well, works well, and helps me edit my music way faster and easier than before.
Can't wait to see what v3 will bring to the table!

I have one of the first versions of the contour shuttle pro. It doesn't have the left and right button next to the shuttle wheel but other then that it looks the same.

I only use it for video editing .... well ... I'm not a video editor but I fool around with it as a hoby. And I absolutely love it for that. I customised the buttons to have them do stuff that I thought was relevant. Fairly easy to set up ... has to be if even I can do it .

For what it costs ... a no brainer imho.
