what hard drive do you use for system disk? what hard drive do you use for audio? sata all the way? thanks |

I use IDE drive for system and 10K SCSI for audio. No problems so far Thats on Mix plus, PT6.4 |

thanks anyone tried western digital raptor drives 10000RPM for both system and audio for PT mix? |

10,000rpm is overkill. 7200rpm is plenty, and will have a longer operating lifespan due to reduced mechanical wear. I use internal SATA for system and external USB for audio/samples.
