I run 3 puters in the control room. 1 Pc and 2 Apples. The PC is for the net. I have AVG and Adaware and I get a Virus alert every 2 days if not more. AVG says it cleans it and deletes it and I still can't get rid of it. I am not PC savy and never get viruses in my Apples ( Ha--that reads funny!). How do I get rid of the fuc***g thing. I turned system restore off and cleaned and still get it. I have XP running on a pentium 4 Thanks, Chris

run an online virus scan (pandaware has a free one) and then get the file locations and manually delete them yourself.

Panda should fing it Trend micro may not. Also, with sysyem restore off, boot into safe mode .....run the "Regedit" and look for those files that Panada showed were the nasty ones. Just di a find in the registry. Then delelt them. Now before you re boot make sure that you empty the Recycle Bin.... or they will end up back on yout system. Auhhhh! I love PC's.. Just wait thought..... it won't be long before some Prick With Ears starts writing them for MAc too. peace
