Thread Starter | Your FAV Reverb Plug, please I have tried about 10 or so reverb plugins including the verb on the UAD-1 card. And I have to say that the only reverb plugin that I have really liked thus far is still my ole Timeworks 4080L. I think it sounds so real and pretty darn warm Too! The damping control works so well. And Yes I still love my PCM-91. What say yee?

| http://sonictimeworks.com/p_100.php Best one ever for me......speaking of Timeworks and Creamware together, what would you expect less? Never heard anything better from dsp. I mentioned it on some previous thread too, but ok... ![]() |

| My favorite is the SpinAudio Roomverb M2. It's capeable of sounding like anything from SIR with Lexi impulses to the Princeton Digital Room verb to Spirit Canyon's demented convolutions. Me love it long time.

Thread Starter | Cool! Speaking of UAD-1 I was messin round with Nigel ....uh maybe I should rephrase that? Anyway I thought it was quite the sharp little plug. It took me about 2 hours to get the sound I was looking for....but I got it. it too can sound warm on the Amp Sims. Oh heck you guys got me going now! Anybody A/B the new UAD-1 Pre Limiter yet? I put it up aganst the Waves L2 plugin. I couldn't really tell....I guess I'd have to do it again. |

| I've actually become a huge fan of Logic's new-ish native convolution verb. I'm using a lot of the high-end Lexi emulations and I'm finding that they've got real depth to them that I wasn't getting out of any other verb I'd been working with, the UAD1 verbs included (which I never really cared for...). |

| The plugin reverb that sounds best in the mix right now it the Princeton 2016, imho. It does not sound ultra-realistic, but it fit's very well with the dry signal and enhances the mix. As far as the Precision Limiter is concerned, I think it beats the L2 easily, as it's much more transparent, and does not mud the signal (as long as you use it properly). |

| IMHO I don't have scads of reverb plugs at my disposal, but I think Wavelab 5.0 (Steinberg's) Naturalverb is pretty sweet. I definitely like it better than the verb that comes with Waves Gold Bundle. |

| Has anyone tried the Sony Reverb plugin? I downloaded the demo, and loved the early reflections section, but was less crazy about the longer 'verbs. I don't know if I ever got a real handle on it, though. It has a lot of controls, and the demo ran out before I'd really messed with it. I'm curious to hear other's impressions of it...

| Gear maniac | Depends on what application the verb is for... For general bus verb.. usually add a little of everything to this to give stuff space- Sir, with ksp8 impulses.. or "ambience" impulses from noisevault.com For drums (especially snares)- Steinberg's Natural verb Sometimes other's come into play on specifics.. but that's it for right now anyways. |

| Gear maniac | Yea, the Sony Oxford seems very natural to me for room simulation. Used the demo on a string section and had very natural sounding results. I couldn't 'hear' the verb, but I felt the room. Haven't ventured into the longer tails yet but I've got a week left on the demo. thumbsup Honestly, my 'go to' reverb has been Digi Reverb One. I A/B'd it against my Lex 300 and, for most things, it stood up to the challenge. Jim |

| After I have tried SIR or any other impulse reverb only few really expensive reverbs are better. Sure you can not compare Lex 960 with impulse 960 but if you A/B Lex 960 impulse with real pcm 91 or even Lex 300 it is very similar IMO . I have UAD card and after trying its reverbs I never used them again . Other plug reverbs are a bit of disappointment too |

With TL Space and Revibe on Pro Tools, you can sell your old Lexicon and TC reverb hardware to some poor native DAW user. ![]() | |
