I have a question and have not yet found a satisfying answer - if it exists here just direct me to it. Question: To what extent can an RME 9652 card, Nuendo 96k 8 I/O converter, Hammerfall Series PCI card and multiface converter all be used within a single PC running Nuendo and Win 2000 - No idea on chipset or such details? I ask because I have a chance to buy the Hammerfall system. It is probably safe to assume there are some restrictions but could I use both converters to feed the 9652 - using the hammerfall PCI card only to control its respective converter? I would have to wordclock sync the converters. Would I have a resonably satisfactory 16 I/O system? Or perhaps using that groovy multi-machine sync mode that I have not yet had enough gear to try (system link or whatever it is). To be honest I'm looking for encouragement and an eye on possibilities to give this a whirl assuming there is no fundamental incompatibility at the source. Anyone........... |
