Thread Starter | Mac G5(PPC) Running Logic and Pro Tools I'm mac os 10.4.9 on a dual 2.0 g5 ppc with 3.5gigs ram. I've been wanting to upgrade. I've asked this question a few times here, and no one seems to have direct experience and the answer. Is upgrading to Leopard on an older mac gonna help or hurt. Everyones got their panties in a bunch talking about how logic is so much more efficient with the current leopard os...but what about us without brand new macs.....someone must have tried this and be able to give some insight. I use PT LE every day and Logic 8 everyday, and am wondering if i have to upgrade or can squeeze some more life out of current system...cause i'm running out of CPU power often. |
