cubase stopped saving songs...

hi i started making a new song in cubase, it created fine, it saved fine, then when i try to reopen it later, theres no cpr file for the song:( all work lost even when i saved it.... this has never happened to me before..

Cubase 4? SX3...?

Have you double checked where are you saving your project file?

If nothing else maybe a clean reinstall would help.

yeah sx 3.0, i know exactly where i saved them, im gonna do a full reinstall.

i just did a full reinstall.... no dice:( i have had a trojan in my comp for about a year now thats been screwing up different things... im thinkin it could be that and also that...

Yeah, that could be an issue. I would not even begin a reinstall of Cubase until my system was clean.

i got all the viruses off my comp, still wont save:(

are you absolutely sure you're saving the file where you think you're saving it? I find 9 out of 10 times it's an easy to explain operator error. Try doing a search on your entire system and look for every .cpr file you can find and see if it shows up. Maybe Windows is bouncing it somewhere odd?
