Need to import MAC PT session into PC PT

Hello Gearslutz.

I need to import a MAC PT session into my PC based PT LE system for some file transfers.

I get an error message saying PT couldn't complete the Open Session command because the session was created on a Macintosh without Mac/PC Compatibility mode enforced.

I already tried some things to find a workaround:

Adding all the file extensions like .aif & .pts doesn't help.
It still doesn't work.

Can PT change that "Mac/PC Compatibility mode enforced" flag (I guess it's just a flag) after a session has already been created and recorded (open the session on a Mac, change the flag, save the session again - voilà)? Or do you have to make your final choice whether it's "MAC&PC" or "MAC only" in the very beginning of a session?

If you open the session on a Mac, then "save session copy" to a new location you'll have the option of choosing "enforce PC/Mac compatibility". You should be good to go then.

I'm on PT 6.4, and if you go to window>show session setup it will tell you if PC/Mac compatibility is enforced. I'm not certain about earlier versions, my memory isn't what it used to be !
