PC Motherboards for ProTools HD3 Accel

We're about to add an HD3 Accel setup to our studio, running on PC. I'm trying to get some information on which motherboards people are successfully using for this kind of rig.

In particular, has anybody had any luck with a Supermicro X5DA8 or other motherboards using the Intel E7505 chipset. This chipset is used on the two Digidesign certified systems, but I've seen at least one person have problems with it on a custom-built system.

If anybody has any input, advice, assistance, I'd be extremely grateful.

Many thanks

Jules

Thanks REMO

There are a few, but not as much information as I'd hoped. I kind of thought there might be some kind of list of motherboards which people had had success with, but so far I've not found it.

Thanks again

Didn't see you ask.. I use an Asus P4C800 Deluxe which works well (as it does for other Accel XP users).

Thanks Rail

I've seen others mention that board. If we fail with our Supermicro board (can't hurt to try), it looks like that's the best option.

Thanks again
