Anybody have experience with Toontrack Superior Drummer 2.0

Hello all!

Anyone try the below? I'm looking for an alternative for my old Dr Rhythm.

Toontrack Superior Drummer 2.0 | Sweetwater.com

1) Is it compatible with Pro Tools?

2) Thoughts one quality of sounds

3) Can you spread each drum over different tracks?

4) Are the drum kits EDITABLE (tempos etc)?

ANY HELP would be MUCH appreciated!

If you check on the Toontrack site, it has yet to be released! It is available for PRE-ORDER only, and will ship at the end of June.

Yes.

It depends on your tastes and what styles you're working on. But the sounds are raw and unprocessed so they can be manipulated to achieve a very wide range of styles. The Avatar sound library that ships with S2 also has brushes, rods, mallets, and snare wire on/off sound tools to meet alot of song needs. The snares range from a 70's Slingerland to a 13" pic and a funky 10".

The drums can be mixed in S2 via a dedicated Mixer and can be routed to your DAW so if you can use your favorite plugins. Although, I've found the built in effects in S2 (by Sonalksis) to be very good.

I'm not sure what you're asking.
