recommendations for macbook 2g RAM upgrade

i know better than to go cheap on RAM. anyone have any recommendations for a good brand/ a good online store for upgrading a MB to 2gig RAM?

Re: cheap ram - You don't really have a choice as you need to use fully buffered ram for Macs and that is a bit more pricy... mind you...still cheap at the moment!

huh, i see there that they say it's ok to get 3gig of ram into the macbook, as the benefit for having a matched pair does not outweigh the extra memory. since it sounds like the matched pair benefit is mostly really to the video card, this might makes sense for a mostly audio-centered laptop.

anybody want to comment on that? if i can get three gigs, risk-free, obviously, i'd rather do that. what about getting a matched pair of 2g dimms? i assume i'd still get the matched pair benefit, and the machine would simply only address the first 3 gigs, right?

ba-bump. still wondering if it's worth getting a matched pair of 2 gig dimms, to get the matched pair benefit to the video chip, while also addressing 3 gigs?

what do you mean by fully buffered? and is there any significant difference between the few manufacturers listed on the Other World Computing site?
