DAE 1125 error message in protools

I keep getting a DAE 1125 Error message when attempting to launch my protools HD-3 system. It is an intermittent problem that seems almost random. Sometimes if I secure my cable conections it goes away. Sometimes I have to restart the computer several times and then it goes away.

I am running HD 7.3 on a Mac Pro with tiger. For A/D and D/A conversion I am using apogee converters. The Digi sync and Xmon are still in use for their original intended purpose. I am using the D-command as my control surface.

Does anyone know what could be causing the error?

Excerpt from a conversation in the control room.

I've had this before too on one of our studio rigs...reseating the cards usually did the trick if I remember correctly.

Just had that error and tried rebooting the computer, the 192s, and hard drives. That didn't work.

What ended up working was checking all the connections on the back of the interfaces. One of the Primary Port cables was loose.

Hope this helps some people!!
