Error Message in ProTools

Hi all,
I've been getting an odd error message in ProTools (LE 7.3) when I bounce a track. The message comes up at the end of the bounce, but before the sample-rate conversion is done. Attached is a screenshot of the actual message that comes up.
I've developed a temporary workaround for it, it seems that if I change the start and end points of the track and then bounce again, the error doesn't occur, but this can be tiresome, as I'm often bouncing longer tracks (30 minutes or so). I'm running a Macbook pro with OS 10.4.11. If anyone has any experience with this problem and could offer advice or a fix it would be great. Thanks.

I would try to delete the "digidesign databases" folder on every HD connected. That mostly works.

Record onto another track instead. That way you can just pick of where you left in case you get any error messages.

+1 for recording to another strack through a BUSS.

bouncing to disk is slow and inconvenient, ESPECIALLY if you need to do multiple passes.

"oldschool" bouncing (recording to another track) is still only realtime, but you can simultaneously record stems/splits/mix minus/etc...and if PT stops do to an error, you can punch back in and "heal" the region separation.

Bingo!!

I would download that free PT preferences trashing tool, and get familiar with it!

I agree totally (although I'd only ever put down one mix at a time - if I'm sending anything out, I want to listen to it as it goes down!) but there is a technical problem here, and that needs sorting out. It's almost certainly a database corruption thing.
