Waves Analog Noise Is "OUT OF PHASE"!!!! Why???

OK, I'm doing a mix and noticed something strange happening. I guess I noticed this because of this new free plugin from Flux called "Stereo Tools" I downloaded and now using.
So I put it last on my Master Fader for my plugins to see what it saw.

On my Master in this mix I used the Waves SSL G-Buss on my master. I then put the Waves L3-16 on and began setting that up but, noticed that the flux plugin started going out of phase. I thought it was weird so I started muting buss channels.
Once I muted the BGV buss channels it went back in phase. So I un-muted the BGV Buss and started mute the BGV channels themselves to see if there was some reason on of the channels was going out of phase. It stayed out of phase until I muted all the BGV except the last one. It then went in phase. I didn't know what that is about so, I guess my question is,

Is the Waves SSL plugins sending out "Out Of Phase" noise?

I pulled up a blank session and just created a Master Fader.
I then put the Waves SSL G-Buss 1st and turned off the analog button. I then put the Flux Stereo plugin after that and turned the input all the way up.
Everything was cool until I pressed in the analog button. Then it totally went out of phase.
The Waves E-Channel Plugin did the same as well as the Waves G-EQ. Soon as I pressed in the analog button on all the plugins, it goes out of phase.
This is not good at all is it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Somebody please respond on this.

Marc

Sorry in advance for any misspelled words, phrases or not using the right meaning/s at the right times. So get over it and back to the post at hand!!! Thanx....

How long does it take to do a mix. - UNTIL IT'S DONE!!!
One thing I'd like you to understand. It's much easier to be done than to be satisfied!!

Sorry guys,

I think it's this new Flux plugin that might be off. I'll make sure and post back. Be careful of this new Flux Stereo Tools.
Looks Great!!!!

Hello Marc,

yes, I noticed the same quirky behaviour. The round "stereodisplay" shows everything correctly, precisely like my RTW. But the correlation meter has its parking position, when the level gets too low, on the left, out-of-phase -1 side. Oddly enough only on TDM systems. In PT LE it parks on the right side +1. I was immediately irritated with this behaviour, because the figures of the stereodisplay and those indicated by the correlation meter do not match, as soon as the levels get low. This is really extremely irritating. The best thing would be to ignore the correlation meter or for flux, to correct this behaviour, and put the parking positon of the white dot in the middle, at "0", where it belongs.

Nevertheless it's a very generous gift from flux - MANY THANKS!

Matthias

It's not Waves. It's the Flux Stereo Tool. The correlation meter is inaccurate. Great tools though. I'm sure they'll notice and do upgrade to fix it.

Yes, I too can confirm that it's the Flux plug causing the problem.

Is this just a meter issue, or a bug with the actual sound output of Stereo Tools?, as I hadn't noticed the sound of the phase behaving in an unexpected way (I must admit I wasn't paying much attention to the correlation meter though)

I think it's just an issue with the correlation meter, as the vector display works properly

The Flux Stereo Tool has been updated

The 1.3.0.13 version of Stereo Tool now parks the phase indicator at zero when there is no input signal.

We're very sorry for this bug. We hope Stereo Tool will now perfectly satisfy your expectations.

Hey guys, donīt want to hijack the thread... but could you comment on the
"analog noise" provided in the Waves G-Bus comp PlugIn?

I checked it out at a friendīs studio, liked itīs sound - but i didnīt hear
any change when pushing the analog button...

I didnīt have the time to play around with the PlugIn, so would be nice
if anyone can give some info!
