| I'm about to hook up an Apogee Ensemble to a Mac Pro. I'm aware of the Firewire 400-to-800 adapter workaround until 10.5.3 is released with (hopefully) the final fixes for both the Ensemble and Logic. My question is this: The Ensemble comes with a 3-foot Firewire Cord. Is anyone using a longer firewire cord between the Ensemble and their computer? Are there any problems with doing that? What's the length limit for a Firewire Cord per Ensemble? Would that length limit apply to all Firewire audio interfaces or just Ensemble? |
