CD burning software help, remember Masterlist CD? MAC

Showing my age here, but I really liked the way Masterlist CD could import markers from Sound Designer II as track ids. It was very easy to look at a long audio file (like a live show or classical piece) and drop and drag the markers to exactly where I wanted them.

I've since graduated to ProTools and use Jam/Toast for burning, and now I usually separate the mix into regions, export or bounce selected as files, then drag everything into Jam. It's really a drag if you need to change an ID placement after the fact - back to ProTools - change the regions, export again. Also sometimes noticing audible clicks in Jam when splitting long movements into different tracks - classical works mostly.

Does anyone have any other software recommendations for CD authoring on a Mac, ideally allowing you to see and move track IDs before you burn? Maybe someone working with classical material? Any good work flows out of PT for long form shows?

thanks, MC

i use protools and wavelab.

in wavelab you can very easily move markers around as well as adding or deleting them.

in protools i normally bounce the tracks down...which is in real time and a pain....i do all from classical, folk to rock..and touch wood no sound glitches

i know that wavelab is PC..but you could use bootcamp or the like..? perhaps

wavelab does look cool, but I want to stay on the mac platform. Did a bit more research this morning and it looks like my version of Jam (5.0) actually does import markers, but only from SDII files.

Just the think what i want to remark. Your workflow on the moment is the way to go i think. Ok it gives your more work/time to get it right, but you have more freedom in arrangement/setup workway. I chose for the last one.
