Delay Plugin Favourite – MAC & PC - POLL

hi all

there’s often many threads with people asking which the best Comp & Eq, etc, plugins are so I can only choose 10 in a poll but choose you favourite from this list which should help people.

DUE TO THE LIMITATION ON POLL OPTIONS, YOU CAN ONLY LIST 10 ITEMS SO I'M SORRY IF YOU FAVOURITE DOESN'T FEATURE BUT PLEASE MENTION THEM IN THE THREAD

Logic Pro DelayDesigner is missing from the list. That gets my vote.

i wanted to put logic's stuff in but it's not cross platform or available for other hosts so i thought is was pointless.

I bought the UAD-1 space echo however i wasnt happy how CPU greedy it was on one card and it didnt seem that stable once adding other plugins to the same card when hitting around 90% CPU use.
Ive since bought the soundtoys plugins and now i never use the UA space echo anymore i wish i never bought it ..... Echo boy is the bomb and Crystallizer is just as good.

I understand. Still, it's pretty darn neat.

In general I like Logic's delay plug-ins, be it Stereo Delay, Tape Delay or the new DelayDesigner.

line 6 gearbox, kjarheus (spelling?) classic delay, psp84

i've used the waves too but it isn't really practical..

as i like my delay to be quick and useful, not crammed with so many functions that they stop acting as usual delay boxes..
... preferably with tap tempo and sync.. that's why i really like the gearbox plugin for that (aside from the great tape and analog emulations...)

sorry Jax, i was going for cross platform & multi host stuff

it's not nice to read about the latest and greatest stuff to find it's only available for a different host or platform

i'm willing to bet the stuff is great though, i like tape head for AU though never tried the plugs in PT

It would be great for even Massey himself if he developed multi-host compatibility with all his plug-ins. He would probably at least double his profits, but given the already more than fair pricing, money must not be the motivating factor for him.

Anyway, back to the topic.

I love Space Echo... but for delays I don't really care. Depends on what's being delayed.
