Powerbook, Pro Tools LE and a External Drive question

Hi guys,

I have searched on google and this forum but I can't find a clear answer. I'm using a Powerbook 15" 1,33 Ghz, a Digi 002 with Pro Tools LE and a Lacie external portable Firewire drive (bus powered) and I was wondering how many tracks I can track at once at 44.1k? I'm thinking of buying a 8 channel adat interface for the Digi 002 so I can track 16 tracks at once. Is that going to be a problem with this setup?
