Thread Starter | Can MBP be slaved to word clock??
Can a MacBook Pro be slaved to word clock via it's optical I/O?? Does anyone have experience doing this successfully?? I would like to send the MBP audio from my digital mixer without having to use an audio interface between the two. TIA, Prof |

Can it be slaved to the mixer? Yes - via SPDIF optical. You should be able to do what you need, you're just mixing up your digital signals | |
