updating from N.I Komplete 4 To Komplete 5, Have you done it?

It´s been a few months that the N.I package has been on the studio floor.. Im always paranoid to mess things up, and it did take me a while to get the Ni 4 package up and running..

So.. my question is.. Have you updated from 4 to 5, and how did it go?
And did you first uninstall everything and then re installed , or..?

Thanks in advance..

I feel your pain, mine sat here for at least two months before I got the nerve up to try it, based on NI torture in the past.

But I updated eventually - only selecting the products that had been updated within the package (GR3, Kontact) and then added Massive - I left Battery and others alone (those that were unchanged versions from 4 to 5.) Not sure why I did it that way but it worked.

No issues here, all authorized fine etc, on a mac/tiger.

I have heard of issues from some over at the NI forum.

Good luck.
