Mac powerbooks!

Anyone know a good place to pick up G4 15" 1.33 powerbooks in london, best I'm getting is £1399.. for combi drive+256 ram

hmm, 1399 is about standard.

I got mine as a return item from John Lewis, for £1249..it's worth asking around for these, mine's in perfect condition they just can't sell at full price twice..

1) You can try the on-line Apple Store under "refurbished" or "previous generation products".

2) Buy a UK Mac magazine and go through the adds

3) Micro-Anvika on Tottenham Court Rd have specials from time to time. Otherwise they will meet any advertised net or magazine price. I got really lucky in April when I picked-up a 250 Mb drive for less than their advertised price (or anyone else's advertised price for that matter). Sometime it pays to take the tube.
