| Simple, good, reasonable audio Interface?
Hi all, I have been going around and around trying to find a simple but good way to get sounds out of an ART Pro channel preamp into my windows laptop computer.
The features that I want are:
Line level input is enough, mike plus phantom power would be a plus.
I don't to have extra gain and then pad it out, cuz that raises the noise.
24 bit/96K, although I expect that probably 44.1 would be enough
USB class compliant because I intend to switch over to a Linux desktop soon.
Low noise is important to me.
I only really need one line input, but more with in reason is fine
Real time headphone monitoring is a strong plus
I have looked at all the m-audio's and tascams, etc. and etc, and they all seem to get bad reviews.
I am really just looking for simple and good, and not overly expensive. |
