Importing multiple midi files into a pro tools session(possible logic help)

How do you do this so that is keeps all the tempo and time signature changes for each midi file, so that each midi file comes in at the next point.

I am basically putting together a set of all the songs, and it seems it doesnt want to let me to import each one with deleting the previous tempo and time info.

Any help would be much appreciated. Or if anyone knows a work around in Logic as it doesn't import the tempo or time sigs for me, then I would be able to do it in that as well.

CheerS!

On logic you have to Open to get all those info...
once you do that you can copy paste the tempo map into the other project...
That may be the only way...since pro tools won't allow multiple tempo maps per project....

logic 8 manual pg631- explains quite a bit on standard MIDI file operations if you want to read more into it..

do you really have to do this? what are you trying to accomplish?
