Mono outputs from Logic??

Is is possible have a submix or bus's output in mono instead of stereo? I don't need this for the sake of it being in mono, but so each instrument only takes up one hardware output.. It looks to me that Logic only lets you have stereo outputs which is kinda lame.

Any way around this??

i'm pretty sure logic only lets you have stereo pairs. i've worked around this in the past by having 2 copies of, say, output1/2 - one panned hard left and one hard right

not sure if logic 8 has fixed this but i dont think you can have mono (physical) outputs in 7

You can definitely have mono output objects in the environment.
The thing you can't have is mono outputs on your channel strips. You have to pan hard left or right. Which can be a pain in the ass if you use 3db or -3d compensated pan laws.

ahh.. I see. I just found a thread on it from less than a month ago too

So I guess a work around for this could be routing from logic in stereo then taking that stereo pair and routing it to a single hardware output in my RME Totalmix software. Now I just have to figure out how the hell to do that!
