Sonar won't detect Reverence VST

I recently installed Audiodamage's Reverence plugin. At first, it didn't show up in any of my apps (Sonar 6 Prod., Cubase LE, and Wavelab). They sent me a new auth. code to reinstall, and now it shows up in Cubase and WL, but still not in Sonar (the one I actually need it for).

Here are the steps I've taken in Sonar:
Re-scanned VSTs, Re-scanned with "rescan failed" checked, Used "Reset All", and checked the exclusions list in the Plugin Manager. Reverence does not show up no matter what I do.

Anyone run into this problem? How did you solve it?
Thanks.

Did it install the DLL in Sonar's plug-in folder? It is usually C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins, but you can change it. Check in Sonar under Global > VST Plugins. Maybe that's the issue.

Yes, the path for my plugs is Shared Audio Components>Vstplugins, and then within that is the Reverence folder. I've copied the .dll into all 3 of those folders, and listed them all in the scan folders. It just doesn't see it.

The Audiodamage people said I need to find the wrapped version that Sonar created and delete it so it will detect upon reinstall. Not sure where this would be besides the vst plugs folder. Does anyone know what they are referring to?

SONAR doesn't wrap things anymore, and it doesn't create separate versions.

In SONAR's plugin manager, you can check the "rescan all plugins" and let it fly - this should probably detect the plugins in the designated folder(s) and make them available for SONAR.

In the plugin manager, you can view excluded plugins - if Reverence is in there, click on it, go to properties, and you may find a way to enable it there (it may have to be configured as a synth instead of an audio plugin, for example).

Did those things. There is no trace of it in the PIM or anywhere else in Sonar, even though I've copied the .dll into 3 directories and scanned them all.

This may be a dumb question, but does it function in Cubase and WL? Is it possibly corrupt?

Don't know how or why, but after trying several different things and not seeing any results, after a day or two I started Sonar and this time, Reverence showed up.

No idea why it didn't at first, but I'm glad it is now. Great sounding plug.
Thanks for your help everyone.

I used to work with an old German machinist on ancient screw machines. Sometimes a problem would just go away for no apparent reason. His take?
"Maybe it vas tired."
