Lightbulb Mix outside the box?

Does it make sense to mix a track, whichis totally produced inside Nuendo or any other host, outside with an anlog console?
Are there big sonic differences?

Yep, it'a a pretty hot topic. Every couple of days there is a new post about it. So logically there has to be something to it to cause all this comotion. I personly use Cubase SX and definatly prefer to mix outside the box when ever possible. I think it gives it a bigger, warmer sound. It's a world of difference to the digital sounding mixing algorithms in SX. I don't know about nuendo having never actualy used it, but I would assume both being steinberg products that the programming would yield similar audio results.
